Alliance MIFA + Animation!
Once again, the Latin American Film Market Ventana Sur will feature Animation!, the industry section especially dedicated to animation.
In alliance with the MIFA Market at Annecy International Animation Film Festival (France), animated TV series and feature film projects will be selected to be presented at Animation! Pitching Sessions.
One of the novelties this year is that the selected projects will take part in an Animation! special section at MIFA 2018. In this second edition, the number of winning projects will be doubled.Four projects will be chosen, which will give Latin American projects better exhibition at the most important animation event in the world.
The call for Latin American projects for animated feature films and TV series in development or pre-production is now open until September 15th.
Another novelty at Animation! 2017 is the Work in Progress special program for feature films. This selection, curated by the Annecy Festival, will focus on the Latin American films soon to be finished, giving them prominent exposure before the Market attendees.
