Cesar Cabral has a degree in Cinema at University of São Paulo. He began his career as a stop-motion animator before he co-founded Coala Filmes studio. “Bob Spit”, his first feature film, had its premiere in Annecy Film Festival where it was awarded as the best picture in the Contrechamp category. Additionally, “Bob Spit” became the first Latin American feature film to win the main prize in the Ottawa Intl. Festival, and it was also in the shortlist for the 2023 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
