LatinX in Animation joins as a strategic partner in the Mentoring for Female Creators program
The Mentorship Program for Female Creators has a new sponsor, LatinX in Animation (the Latino Film Institute’s program that seeks to support and promote Latino animation talent), who will award a prize for one of the projects. The prize consists of a ticket, lodging and accreditation for one of the directors to participate in the 2023 edition of the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival LALIFF. Participation includes industry workshops at LALIFF and visits to animation studios in Los Angeles.
The announcement was made during the Pitch session of the Mentorship Program for Female Creators where it was received with great enthusiasm from the participants.
This year the award was given to “Negocio de brujas” by Gigante Azul (Chile), directed by Alejandra Jaramillo Fanta and produced by Paulina Sanhueza.
The second edition of the Mentoring Program for Women Creators, whose purpose is to promote exchanges with international experts and create a space to develop the potential of women creators in an environment where few women have access to the role of director, thus came to a successful conclusion.
